Election Of BJP MLA Rameer Singh From Moradabad Challenged, Allahabad High Court Issues Notice

On an election petition that challenged the election of BJP MLA from Kundarkee, Moradabad Ramveer Singh, the Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to all candidates, including MLA Ramveer Singh.

Ramveer Singh was recently elected on a BJP ticket in the recently held by-election.

 Justice Samit Gopal passed this order on an election petition filed by one Mohemmad Rizwan, who contested the election on a Samajwadi Party ticket.

The petitioner, Rizwan, has alleged that Ramveer Singh used the power of a ruling party to win the by-election.
