The success of Munjya is a lesson for the Indian Film Industry that if you
go with good content then even without celebrity stars you could earn money.
Munjya is about a young man’s visit to his native village unveils a family secret and a vengeful spirit, the Munjya, who wants to get married. Now the young man fights to protect himself and his love from Munjya’s clutches.
Munjya’ star cast includes Abhay Verma, Sharvari Wagh, Mona singh and Sathyaraj.
Munjya is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik.
Munjya is a ‘Horror-Comedy’ with a good screenplay and good performances by the actors, direction is good with good jobs done by all of the technicians.
Munjya was theatrically released on 7 June 2024, to mixed reviews from critics. The film emerged as a super hit entertainer, grossing over ₹111 crore (US$13 million) worldwide against a production budget of ₹30 crore (US$3.6 million) to rank as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
