Ghastly murder of Bangladesh MP was a contract killing reveals Kolkata police

Five crore was allegedly paid as contract money for the gruesome murder of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azeem Anar.

This revelation has been made by CID branch of West Bengal police.

The murder had been allegedly well thought and planned before being executed by the deceased’s friend living abroad.

This detail came to light following arrest of a suspect, a butcher by profession. He along with his associates had cut the body into pieces.

The accused has been identified as Jihad Hawaldar hailing from Khulna in Bangladesh

According to Asadzumma Khan, Bangladeshs’ home minister, the MP had gone missing in Kolkata on May 13.

He had come to Kolkata for medical treatment and had been staying with the family of a friend. He had gone to see his doctor but failed to return. His friend had lodged a missing report.

According to agencies, it was a preplanned and premeditated murder.

According to reports published in a section of the press, the deceased was reportedly close to his friend Akhtaruzaman, a US citizens, said to be behind this murder.
