PM Modi has said India believes that solutions to problems cannot be found on battlegrounds.
On the other hand Polish PM Donald Task ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Ukraine said, he has strong hopes that India was capable of playing a constructive role in brokering a peace between Ukraine and Russia which are engaged in a war since long.
PM Modi who has gone to Poland expressed much concern at the fierce battle going on between Ukraine and Russia during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Poland at Warsaw.
PM Modi also expressed India’s concern over the tension between Ukraine and some West Asian countries.
The growing tension in the region is causing much concern to all of us.
Any situation which endangers lives of human beings is a challenge to humanity, said PM Modi.
We support all steps towards establishing peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
He said, India and its friendly countries are ready to provide all types of help and support in achieving peace.
Both India and Poland agree to the directives of International organization’s on facing global challenges because this was the need of the hour, said PM Modi.
