Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the gathering at Ayodhya during his visit to the sacred temple complex, called upon the nation to invoke the values and virtues of Lord Ram within themselves to help build a Viksit Bharat (developed India) by the year 2047.

He emphasised that the transformation of India is possible only when every individual, community, and region becomes empowered and contributes to the collective national effort.

While offering prayers at the Saptarishi Mandir, the Prime Minister reflected on the deeper symbolism enshrined within the temple premises.

He highlighted that the Sapta Mandirs represent the unity of societal values, where each temple signifies devotion, sacrifice, friendship, dedication, and selfless service.

He stated that the temple of Mata Shabari embodies the love and devotion of the tribal community, while the temple dedicated to Nishadraj stands as a timeless symbol of noble friendship cherished in Indian culture.

The statues of Jatayu and the Squirrel remind us that even the smallest efforts contribute significantly to great missions.

He urged devotees that whenever they visit Ayodhya and the Ram Temple, they should also pay homage at the Saptarishi complex to understand the moral foundation of Ram’s legacy.

Vision of a Developed India by 2047

Prime Minister Modi underlined that national progress requires long-term vision rather than short-sighted thinking.

Those who think only about the present commit injustice to future generations,” he said, stressing that India must plan and act for the centuries ahead.

He reminded us that while 1,000 years from now none of us may be here, India will continue to exist—and the work done today must ensure its greatness.

He expressed confidence that India is on course to become the world’s third-largest economy in the near future.

A New Ayodhya Rising

Referring to the ongoing transformation of the holy city, the Prime Minister stated that a new Ayodhya is taking shape—where heritage meets modern aspirations.

The city, he said, is scripting a new chapter of development comparable to the flow of the sacred Sarayu river.

Since the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in January 2024, more than 45 crore devotees have visited Ayodhya, reflecting the magnitude of faith and unity across the nation.

He noted that Ayodhya will soon stand as a vibrant blend of ancient culture and modern infrastructure.

A Call for Spiritual and Social Unity

PM Modi concluded by saying that Lord Ram is not merely a deity but a value system, a symbol of discipline, righteousness, and unwavering commitment.

To build a developed India by 2047, we must establish the spirit of Ram within ourselves. Ram is morality, Ram is dignity,” he said.

He reiterated that collective strength, harmony, and national duty will shape the destiny of a new India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged devotees visiting Ayodhya to ensure that they also pay homage at the Saptarishi Mandir. He emphasised that the collective strength represented by these sacred sites is essential for building a developed India.

Within the complex stand the seven temples symbolising profound values of society.

The temple of Mata Shabari reflects the deep affection and devotion of the tribal community.

The shrine of Nishadraj represents the eternal ideal of friendship rooted in pure sentiment.

The statues of Jatayu and the Squirrel remind us that even the smallest contributions play a crucial role in achieving great endeavours.

The Prime Minister appealed to the citizens, stating that whenever they visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, they should take time to offer their respects at the Saptarishi temples as well, to truly absorb the moral and cultural essence that defines the legacy of Lord Ram.
