Keep focussing on your goal with dedication. If you stumble, rise again and keep trying. Leave everything else in the hands of god. This teaching in Bhagwat Gita made Manu Bhakar win the bronze at the France Olympics and has brought happiness on the faces of countrymen back home in India.

After her victory Manu said, she always remembered these lines of the Bhagwat Gita.

Manu won this grand feat in the 10 metre Air Pistol shooting in the women’s category.
With this medal 22 year old Manu from Haryana has become the first Indian to open the medal account for her country.
Manu has brought victory in this field after a gap of 12 years.
Indian’s ( men’s category) had earlier won two medals in this field in 2012 at the London Olympics.
Indian shooters had come empty handed from Rio and Tokyo Olympics.
Manu’s pistol had developed a snag during qualifying rounds in Tokyo. She had wept at that time but had not lost the will and determination. She knew she could do it. And she has done it this time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Manu for this historic win. The medal which she has won is all the more important because she is the first woman to win a medal for her country.
Chief Minister UP Yogi Aditya Nath has also heartily congratulated Manu on her grand victory at the Olympics, saying her achievements would inspire other sports persons to win medals for the country in the times to come.
