North Korea Fires Multiple Ballistic Missiles Amid US–South Korea Military Drills, Heightening Regional Security Concerns
Tensions on the Korean Peninsula escalated sharply on Saturday after North Korea conducted a fresh series of ballistic missile launches toward waters off its eastern coastline, according to officials in South Korea.

The Prime Minister’s Office of Japan issued immediate directives to government agencies instructing them to prioritise intelligence gathering and analysis while ensuring that accurate information is communicated promptly to the public.
