PM Modi files nomination for third consecutive term amid massive fanfare.
Ram Mandir is not an election issue but of faith. It is the result of five hundred year old struggle, penance and sacrifice of great men. “Parmatma ne mujhe eske liye nimitt jaroor banaya,” he was just a medium chosen by god, said PM Modi while talking to media following nomination from Varanasi parliamentary constituency Tuesday.
Those who rejected the Ram Mandir invitation were surely thinking that they committed a sin.
“Main kabhi Hindu Musalman nahi karunga, jis din Hindu Musalman karunga us din sarvjanik jeevan mein rahne yogya nahi rahunga”.
He said, “he would never do Hindu Muslim. He would not be fit for social life the day he does this”, said PM Modi.
On the issue of Rahul Gandhi’s nomination from Raibareilly PM Modi said people in Kerala have understood him well. Congress would not be able to open it’s account in elections this time. People of this country want BJP to cross the 400 mark and he was working hard to achieve this target.
Before filing nomination for the third time PM Modi offered prayers on the banks of holy Ganga. Later, PM Modi went to bow before Lord Bhairo.
Since times immemorial Lord Bhairo is considered as “Kashi’s Kotwal” ‘protector’. PM Modi filed his nomination during ‘Abhjit Muhurt’ considered very auspicious by followers of Sanatan religion.
Acharya Ganeshwar Shashtri a pundit and astrologer of repute who calculated the auspicious time of Pranpratishtha of Lord Ram’s statue( infusing life in the deity through vedid hymns) at Ayodhya was with the PM. Among others included Baijnath Patel, old Jansangh leader, Sanjay Sonkar, Lalchand Kushwaha.
However, during nomination only two others including CM Yogi and the Acharya were there. PM Modi greeted the district returning officer S Rajlingam with folded hands in a gesture of humility.
A host of senior and prominent leaders like home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, national BJP president JP Nadda, several cabinet ministers and entire lot of NDA team including several chief ministers.
If PM Modi wins this time he would be the second PM in the history of the nation after late PM Jawahar Lal Nehru.
