PM Narendra Modi inaugurates Noida International Airport at Jewar, calls it symbol of developed Uttar Pradesh and New India

Jewar (Uttar Pradesh), March 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the much-awaited Noida International Airport at Jewar, describing it as a major milestone in the journey towards a developed Uttar Pradesh and a developed India.

With the launch of the airport, Uttar Pradesh has become the state with the highest number of international airports in the country, he said.

This well-thought-out and carefully planned airport will be of immense help to neighbouring districts such as Aligarh, Mathura, Noida, Agra and several other adjoining areas in the region, significantly improving connectivity and boosting economic prospects.

Addressing a large public gathering at the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister expressed pride in being associated with the project from its foundation to completion. He noted that he had the privilege of laying the foundation stone of the airport earlier and was now honoured to inaugurate its commercial operations.

Calling the airport a symbol of rapid development, Modi said the project reflects the coordinated efforts of the “double-engine government,” referring to the alignment of policies between the central and state governments.

He emphasised that the airport would boost economic growth and significantly improve connectivity in western Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister stated that the new aviation hub would benefit several districts, including Noida, Aligarh, Agra and Mathura, by enhancing trade, tourism, employment opportunities and industrial expansion.

He added that the airport would open new avenues for farmers, youth and entrepreneurs, while strengthening India’s position in global connectivity.

Highlighting the scale of the project, Modi said flight operations from Noida are expected to increase rapidly, with the airport planned to handle heavy passenger traffic and cargo movement in the coming years.

He described the airport as not only a gateway for international travel but also a symbol of Uttar Pradesh’s aspirations to emerge as a major economic powerhouse.

Congratulating the people of western Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister said the airport marks the beginning of a new chapter in the region’s infrastructure development and reflects India’s commitment to modern, world-class facilities.

The Noida International Airport at Jewar has attracted widespread attention due to its scale, strategic location and modern design. It is expected to reduce congestion at Indira Gandhi International Airport while creating a new aviation hub for northern India.

Describing the project as a model of modern infrastructure, the Prime Minister said the airport represents the direction of recent development works being undertaken in the country.

He added that the facility would serve as a benchmark for future airport projects and stands as a symbol of the development initiatives carried out under the double-engine government in Uttar Pradesh.

On his part, CM Yog,  while expressing his gratitude towards PM Modi, said this was the befitting occasion to express gratitude to the PM Narendra M0di politing towards the speed with which the airport construction was undertaken and completed in record time.

The youths of several districts in the vicinity should feel happy about the opening of such a grand airport in their vicinity, as it is going to open up immense employment opportunities for them.

Noida International Airport was the result of converting a vow into a reality within a very short period. This big airport has opened up new vistas, dreams,s and realities for the younger generation

 

A flight every two minutes will take off from this international airport, which will add to the relief of other airports in the country, but will also bring about expansionism in the field of modern-day needs, necessities and development.

With this, Uttar Pradesh has also acquired a new identi, ty and the airport is going to be famous soon amongst all the countries in the world. This would add a feather to the country’s cap.

This airport will not only give a boost to UP’S economy but will also become a launching pad for a brighter future.

The country in the last twelve years has picked up a speed of development,t while Uttar Pradesh caught on with it during the past nine years. This combined speed has given a new identity in the areas of bottlenecks and breakthroughs.

PM M, referring to the ongoing war in West Asia, said India had been passing through a difficult period in these war-torn days. Whatever we are doing is because of the strength derived from the people of this country who are staying strong with us, with the country, said the PM.

There were several other countries also which are passing through a very difficult phase this war has unleashed,d but with the help, dedication, and cooperation of the countrymen,n we are staying on the ground and making every possible effort to swim back to the shore unscathed and unhurt.

After the inauguration,n CM Yogi Adityanath and state governor Anandi Be Patel bot boarded a flight from Jewar and left for Lucknow.
