Prayagraj is reeling from horror after the mutilated body of a teenage boy was discovered late Monday night in a drain at Saraswati Heights City, under the jurisdiction of the Industrial Nagar police station.

A middle-aged aged is seen carrying the body on the Scooty in CCTV footage.  He stopped, flung the body, and sped away

In a crime so chilling it has left even seasoned investigators shaken, the boy’s body had been cut into pieces—head, torso, arms, and legs—all neatly packed in polythene bags and stuffed inside a sack.

Police estimate the victim’s age at 16–17 years, but his identity remains unknown.

Discovery That Stunned a Community

The gruesome discovery was made when locals noticed a suspicious sack floating in the drain near the upscale residential complex.

When police retrieved the sack, they were stunned by what they saw—each body part separated and packed with methodical precision.

“It was like something out of a nightmare,” said a senior police officer at the scene. “This was not a spontaneous killing. It was planned, calculated, and executed with chilling precision.”

Forensic teams were immediately dispatched, and the area was sealed off. Shockwaves rippled through Saraswati Heights City as news spread, and crowds of anxious residents gathered, their whispers filled with fear and speculation.

Honour Killing Fears Take Root

The sheer brutality of the crime has led many locals to fear it may be a case of honour killing. “The body was deliberately cut to make identification impossible,” said a local villager, his voice trembling. “No ordinary crime is committed this way.”

This sentiment has sparked unrest and fear in surrounding neighborhoods, as residents wonder if there are larger, more sinister motives at play.

Police Launches Massive Surveillance Operation

Determined to crack the case, police have gone into overdrive. Over 200 CCTV cameras from Saraswati Heights City and nearby areas have been scanned, leading investigators to a breakthrough: a suspicious scooter rider captured on multiple cameras around the time of the suspected murder.

Authorities are now painstakingly piecing together the suspect’s route, hoping it will lead them to the killers.

“Every frame, every second of footage is being examined,” said an officer close to the investigation. “We are leaving nothing to chance.”

A City on Edge

The discovery has left Saraswati High Tech  City—a neighborhood known for its relative calm—gripped with unease.

Parents are holding their children closer, while locals exchange fearful glances, haunted by the thought of a killer walking free.

For now, Prayagraj waits, anxiously watching as the police sift through evidence, driven by the hope that justice will be swift and uncompromising.
