A Japnese man is drawing much flak after his nine month pregnant wife prepared and stocked a month’s meal for her husband. The woman is reported to have done this with the thought that her husband might not eat well as she would not be living with her parents’ for post partum recovery.
The issue came to light after the nine month pregnant woman shared on X that she had prepared meals in advance for her husband.
The issue has bombarded the social media. While a good lot of people are upset with the husband saying he should be able to do basic household chores while the other lot is criticising the wife for showering child like affection on her husband.
A reader reacted saying most women whether Asia or other parts of the world prefer to stay with their parents post delivery.
What happens with their husbands, “don’t they eat”, This is rare, he added.
