Prime Minister #NarendraModi was accorded a grand ceremonial reception by Brazilian President #LuizInácioLulaDaSilva at the iconic #AlvoradaPalace in Brasília on Tuesday, marking a significant moment in the deepening of #IndiaBrazil relations.

 

The ceremonial welcome, filled with pomp and traditional military decorum, showcased the warm diplomatic ties between the two major economies of the #GlobalSouth.

The Prime Minister’s official motorcade was escorted by 114 ceremonial horses, and the event included full military honours, a symbol of the respect and importance Brazil places on its ties with India.

Ahead of the ceremonial welcome, President Lula expressed his enthusiasm on the social media platform #X (formerly Twitter), stating:

 

“Good morning. We are now back in Brasília. Today, I will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a #StateVisit. We will sign new agreements and take another important step in strengthening bilateral relations between #Brazil and #India.”
