Superstar Ajay Devgn has kick-started ‘Son Of Sardar 2’ with Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. Some photos of Mrunal had also gone viral as this action comedy went on floors in Scotland. It was supposed to be Sanjay Dutt Vs Ajay Devgn in the movie. However, according to a latest report Sanjay Dutt has been replaced in the movie as he was not granted a visa to travel to the United Kingdom.
According to Media reports, Sanjay Dutt’s visa application was rejected due to his arrest under the TADA and the Arms Act. Sanjay Dutt was arrested for the possession of illegal weapons procured from the other accused in the 1993 Bombay bombings. The actor completed his jail term in 2016, however, that incident continues to surround him and cause trouble for his visa and movies now as well. Now Bhojpuri Superstar and internationally acclaimed actor Ravi Kishan has replaced Sanjay Dutt.
Ever since his arrest in 1993, while Sanjay Dutt has traveled to the US, he has applied for a UK visa multiple times but never got one. The ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ shoot would have been his first trip to the UK.
However, after Ajay Devgn’s team found out that Sanjay Dutt’s visa request had been rejected, they replaced him with Ravi Kishan.
Superstar Ravi Kishan recently won a lot of praise for his performance in ‘Laapataa Ladies’ and that apparently has played a role in his casting.
Superstar and Politician Ravi Kishan currently serves as Member of Parliament for the second time, Lok Sabha from Gorakhpur. His film works are predominantly in Bhojpuri and Hindi cinema, as well as Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in a few Kannada and Tamil films. In 2006, he participated in Bigg Boss.
However, this incident raises questions about Sanjay Dutt’s presence in ‘Housefull 5’ which also is supposed to be shot in London. But according to the report, all of Sanjay Dutt’s portions will be shot in Mumbai while the shoot with the rest of the cast begins in London.
Sanjay Dutt is One of the most popular Superstars and great actors of the Indian film industry.
In a career spanning over four decades, Sanjay Dutt has won several accolades and acted in over 135 films. Part of the Dutt family, he is the son of actor-politicians Sunil Dutt and Nargis (Legends). Sanjay Dutt made his acting debut with Rocky (1981), directed by his father.
Sanjay Dutt’s latest film ‘Ghudchadhi’ is set to release on August 9 and he re-unites with Raveena Tandon.
