Rs 400 Crore Swindler Abhishek Dwivedi Arrested. His Wife To Be Arrested Soon, Police says

Police have arrested Abhishek Dwivedi who was on the run after swindling Rs 400 crore of investors’ money in Allahabad. A property dealer and sorcerer Tikam Chanda Jaiswal alias Preetam Nath who had been sheltering the accused has also been arrested.

They were sent to Jail after being produced before a court.

 A resident of Govindpur colony in Allahabad, Abhishek launched Niharika  Ventures and Investment Company in the name of his wife in 2020.

People had invested in the share market and real estate in this company.

One Kaushal Singh and 70 other investors lodged a complaint against Abhishek, his father Dr Om Prakash Dwivedi, and Niharika Dwivedi on June 6 for allegedly committing fraud with them.

 A day later police arrested Dr Om Prakash while he was allegedly trying to get away in a car.

Police also lodged a case against Nirupma, the mother of Niharika from Ayodhya, and sent her to jail.

A week ago police arrested Niharika’s driver who revealed the presence of Abhishek and Niharika in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. Police came to know about the name of another woman in Basti who revealed the name and whereabouts of Preetam Nath who is from Ghaziabad. Police arrested him and came to know about the presence of Abhishek at Panipat from where he was arrested and both of them were brought to Allahabad.

 Meanwhile, police have come to know about Niharika’s presence in one place. She too will be arrested, said ACP Shwetab Pandey.
