RSS Path Sanchalan in Prayagraj Showcases Discipline and Cultural Unity During Centenary Year Celebrations
Prayagraj: A disciplined route march organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Prayag North division was conducted on Sunday from the Parade Ground to mark the organization’s centenary year and the occasion of Varsh Pratipada (Hindu New Year).
The march symbolized unity, dedication, and cultural awareness, with volunteers presenting an impressive display of coordination and commitment.
The procession began with an open jeep carrying a portrait of Bharat Mata, followed by RSS volunteers dressed in traditional uniform. Carrying bamboo sticks on their shoulders, the participants marched in two disciplined rows, synchronizing their steps to the rhythm of the ghosh (band).
The orderly formation and uniform movement reflected a strong sense of organized youth power and collective responsibility.
The march commenced from Parade Ground and passed through Daraganj, Alop Shankari Temple, Matiyara Road, Baghambari Gaddi Road, and Ram Deshik Vidyalaya before concluding back at the Parade Ground.
The route witnessed participation and observation from citizens, highlighting the organization’s emphasis on discipline and cultural values.
Before the procession, Subhash, Prachar Pramukh (publicity head) of the Eastern Uttar Pradesh region, addressed the gathering.
He stated that at a time when many parts of the world are facing conflicts and instability, India is emerging as a strong nation capable of providing leadership at the global level.
He emphasized that the RSS aims to promote cultural awakening in society and highlighted the importance of the Panch Parivartan campaign, describing it as essential for national progress and social transformation.
He added that the organization’s activities reflect its vision of working for the welfare of humanity and fulfilling the aspirations of RSS founder Dr. K.B. Hedgewar.
Former chairman of KP Trust, T.P. Singh, who presided over the programme, described RSS volunteers as guardians of Indian culture and traditions.
He noted that during its 100-year journey, the organization has contributed significantly to enhancing national pride, for which the country will remain grateful.
Senior functionaries, including Department Sanghchalak Prof. K.P. Singh and Bhag Sanghchalak Dr. Ram Shringar, were present on the stage.
The programme proceedings and introduction of guests were conducted by Bhag Karyavah Brahma Shankar.
During the march, Bhag Pracharak Shiv Prakash, Department Karyavah Ashish, and Physical Training head Rajesh were seen ensuring smooth movement and removing obstacles along the route.
Several prominent personalities and office bearers participated in the event, including Dr. S.P. Singh, Nagendra, Regional Prachar Pramukh Dr. Murarji Tripathi, Department Prachar Pramukh Vasu, Co-Department Prachar Pramukh Mukesh, Physical Chief Shiv Prakash, VHP State President K.P. Singh, MLA Dr. Harshvardhan Bajpai, former minister Dr. Narendra Kumar Singh Gaur, Neeraj, Harishchandra, and BJP leader Richa Singh, among others.
