The son of Subhadra, the middle-aged woman hailing from Bhavapur locality in Allahabad has turned out to be the murderer of his mother.
DCP City Deepak Bhukar and ACP Pushkar Varma made this shocking revelation at a press conference.
Sachin Pal son of the murdered woman lives in the Bhavapur locality of the city.
He owns a photostat shop near the high court.
His father Maniram works as a stenographer near the high court.
Sachin often skipped going to his photostat shop.
His parents often objected to their son’s irresponsible lifestyle.
On Sunday, Sachin was resting in his room when his mother raised objections to his presence. His mother reportedly slapped him after he refused to go to work.
Angered by the slap, Sachin hit his mother in the face, and as a result, she hit the wall.
She shouted for help but Sachin pressed a pillow on her face as a result she lost consciousness.
After this Sachin picked up a pestle ( khal batta) and bludgeoned her to death.
Sachin went out of the house after murdering his mother and tossed the pestle near the high court.
He met a person who claimed to be a journalist.
This so-called journalist advised Sachin to lodge a case of loot of Rs 15 lakh cash and jewelry worth 5 lakh at the police station.
This would keep him out of suspicion, the journalist friend suggested.
Sachin took the help of a lawyer and got an FIR registered at the Kareilly police station after informing them about the loot and murder of his mother.
But the story woven by him got untwined after inspector Kareilly Amar Nath Rai and SOG in charge Anup Saroj saw the CCTV footage and became suspicious.
Following his grilling Sachin spilled the beans.
