Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Saturday submitted his resignation to the working committee of the party, paving the way for the election of a new president for SAD.
Badal’s decision to step down was announced on X by SAD leader Daljit Singh Cheema.
