In the midst of continuing NEET -UG 2024 controversy and supreme court directives, a group of twenty students have filed yet another writ seeking complete re-examination conducted by NTA. The students have urged the court to scrap the earlier test completely and order re examination under its watch along with CBI probe.
The supreme court on Friday has already issued notices to the central government as well as NTA on the demand of students regarding CBI probe into the earlier examination conducted by it.
The new writ calls upon a fresh examination in view of alleged large scale irregularities. A fresh examination will open doors for the entry of only deserving and good students.
The students have prayed that a fresh examination was the only alternative in view of large scale proven bunglings in the conduct of the earlier examination.
It may be mentioned that students all over the country had been protesting alleging widespread irregularities in the recently concluded NEET UG-2024 test conducted by NTA.
The economic offences wing Bihar had summoned nine students in connection with allegations of paper leak cintriversy.
Roll code of 13 students had been found in the possession of a slolver gang nabbed by the police.
According to DIG Manavjeet Singh Dhillon all the suspect students will be interrogated in order to come to truth.
The agency is continuing with its investigation.
