While people were dying sevaadars were slipping away, said UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath from the stampede site in Hathras where death toll has reached 121.

Speaking to media CM said, those responsible behind the unprecedented incident will not be spared under any circumstances.
A judicial inquiry into the incident will be conducted by a retired judge said the CM, adding sevaadars even did not care to send the injured to hospitals following the tragedy but preferred to run away in order to escape responsibility.
A preliminary report about the incident has been submitted by ADG Agra and a newly formed  special investigating team (SIT) is probing the incident from all aspects.
While narrating the incident some of the seriously injured persons told the CM that the tragedy occured after Baba’s fleet approached the GT Road following the satsang. At this point a large group of women rushed to touch the baba. They were followed by a crowd from behind which resulted in people falling on the ground due to  body pressure and they were trampled in the melee.
However, the CM said, it could not be dismissed that the incident was a mishap.
A system would be evolved to ensure such incidents do not take place in the future.
Sevaadars too were pushing the crowd. These men also restricted the entry of the administration. The sevaadars disappeared after the administration tried to take injured to hospitals.
He said, the state will taken upon the responsibility of the education of orphaned children in this unimaginable tragedy.
An attempt to hush up the tragedy was also made by the sevadaars and organisers of this event, said the CM.
