Trusteeship Committee of Bar Council UP gives 5 lakh each to 280 lawyers of state.

In an important development, a high level meeting of Trusteeship Committee of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh on Monday decided to give rupee five lakh aid to family members of 280 lawyers of the state, who died in recent past before attaining seventy years’ of age.

The meeting was held in the camp office of advocate general of Uttar Pradesh at Drummond Road on Monday.

 

The state government provides an aid of rupees five lakh to the family members of those lawyers of the state, who died before attaining the age of seventy.

 

Around four hundred applications of lawyers across the state were pending for consideration, who died few years’ back before attaining the age of seventy years. Now 280 applications have been cleared and remaining will be decided in the next meeting.

 

 

 

The meeting was attended by chairman of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh Shiv Kishore Gaur, members of Bar Council – Janki Sharan Pandey and Pradeep Kumar Singh.

 

This crucial meeting was held to approve the applications seeking aid of five lakhs to the family members of those lawyers of the state who died before attaining the age of seventy years
