Trusteeship Committee of Bar Council UP to give five lakh to families of lawyers who expired before attaining 70 years age.

Allahabad : A high level meeting of Trusteeship Committee of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh was organized in the camp office of advocate general of UP on Wednesday to take decision to provide rupees five lakh aid to family members of those lawyers who died in recent past before seventy years’ age.
The state government provides an aid of rupees five lakh to family members of those lawyers of the state who died before attaining the age of seventy.

Around four hundred applications of lawyers across the state are pending for consideration who died few years’ back before attaining the age of seventy years.

The meeting was presided over by the advocate general Ajay Kumar Misra, who is chairman of trusteeship committee of Bar Council of UP. Others who attended included principal secretary (law) Vinod Singh Rawat, who is secretary of trusteeship committee, members of Bar Council – Janki Sharan Pandey, Pradeep Kumar Singh, additional law secretary Pradeep Verma.

As the chairman of Bar Council of UP, Shiv Kumar Gaur was not present due to some personal reasons, the meeting was postponed and will be held in the first week of May to approve the applications seeking aid of five lakhs to the family members of those lawyers who died before attaining the age of seventy years.
