In a bid to strengthen its outreach to investors and promote Uttar Pradesh as a top business destination, the Yogi Adityanath-led state government has announced plans to establish Invest UP offices in three major economic hubs — New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

According to senior officials, these offices will act as dedicated facilitation centres designed to enhance direct engagement with potential investors, resolve their concerns in real time, and showcase the state’s business-friendly policies, industrial achievements, and emerging opportunities.

The strategic move is aimed at creating a seamless communication channel between investors and the state administration, ensuring that companies looking to set up or expand their operations in Uttar Pradesh receive efficient guidance and support.

During a recent high-level meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the government’s commitment to improving investor confidence. He underlined that the objective behind opening these offices is not only to simplify investment procedures but also to introduce businesses to the state’s rapidly improving industrial ecosystem.

“Our mission is to ensure that investors feel welcomed and see Uttar Pradesh as one of the most promising and supportive destinations for their investments,” the Chief Minister said, reiterating his government’s focus on fostering a growth-oriented, investor-friendly environment.

Each office will have a specific focus aligned with the strengths of the city where it is located:

  • The New Delhi office will work as a crucial link with the Central Government, foreign embassies, global investors, and industry associations, providing a bridge between national policy frameworks and state-level initiatives.
  • The Mumbai office will target engagement with India’s financial powerhouses, multinational corporations, and private investment firms, helping the state to attract both domestic and international capital.
  • The Bengaluru office will prioritize collaboration with technology giants, start-ups, and innovation-driven enterprises, tapping into the city’s reputation as India’s Silicon Valley to invite knowledge-based industries into Uttar Pradesh.

Innovative Theme Parks Planned for Ayodhya and Mathura to Turn Urban Waste into Tourist Attractions

In a parallel effort to promote sustainable urban development and boost local tourism, the Uttar Pradesh government is also working on an imaginative project to build theme parks in Ayodhya and Mathura using urban waste and metal scrap.

Inspired by the success of UP Darshan Park in Lucknow and Shivalaya Park in Prayagraj, these new parks will merge creativity, cultural heritage, and environmental consciousness under the state’s “Waste to Wealth” initiative, officials said on Friday.

During a recent presentation by the Urban Development Department, plans were shared to create a “Krishna Lok” Park in Mathura, which will artistically depict significant episodes from the life of Lord Krishna using sculptures crafted entirely from scrap materials.

These installations will be brought to life through interactive 3D models and state-of-the-art light and sound shows, offering visitors an immersive educational and visual experience.

The Krishna Lok Park will illustrate stories ranging from Krishna’s birth to his legendary victories over mythological adversaries like Putana, Bakasur, and Kansa. Beyond cultural storytelling, the park will feature theme-based play zones for children, including installations like flute-shaped swings and peacock-inspired play areas to offer both entertainment and cultural learning.

Meanwhile, in Ayodhya, two unique parks are being proposed:

  1. Luv-Kush Park — dedicated to showcasing the lives of Lord Ram’s sons, Luv and Kush, through thematic models, murals, and entertainment zones.
  2. Shri Purushottam Darshan Anubhav Kendra — a state-of-the-art experience center that will narrate the life and legacy of Lord Ram using LED visual displays, interactive kiosks, and digital storytelling tools.

The design for these parks will also include selfie points, murals of iconic mythological scenes, and symbolic structures like bows and arrows, adding both aesthetic appeal and opportunities for tourism promotion.

Officials noted that beyond offering new attractions for religious and heritage tourism, these parks are expected to become important sources of revenue for local municipal bodies in Ayodhya and Mathura, while simultaneously promoting responsible waste recycling and urban beautification.
