Lucknow: In a move to enhance professionalism and establish a distinct identity among its staff, the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Council has announced a new dress code for all employees. Effective immediately, officials including Lekhpals, Amins, Revenue Inspectors, and Naib Tehsildars are required to wear white shirts and blazers during working hours.
The decision was communicated by Sunil Kumar Jha, the special officer of the council, who emphasized the importance of this new policy to all divisional commissioners and district magistrates. The shirts must prominently display the council’s emblem, with guidelines already distributed to ensure uniformity in appearance.
