Uttar Pradesh Attracts Major Investments Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s Leadership

MoUs Worth ₹19,877 Crore Signed on First Day in Singapore

Lucknow: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Team Uttar Pradesh achieved a significant milestone in Singapore, securing major investment proposals on the very first day of the visit.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth a total of ₹19,877 crore were signed, marking a substantial boost to the state’s industrial growth and employment prospects.

Addressing investors, the Chief Minister reiterated that the Uttar Pradesh government is firmly committed to providing a transparent policy framework, swift approvals, and robust infrastructure support to ensure a seamless investment experience.


Key Investment Agreements Signed

A major proposal came from Universal Success Group, which signed three MoUs involving a total investment of ₹6,650 crore in group housing, logistics parks, and data center projects.

These initiatives are expected to accelerate urban development, industrial activity, and digital infrastructure across the state.

Collectively, the three projects are projected to generate over 20,000 employment opportunities.

In addition:

  • Golden State Capital (GSC) announced an investment of ₹8,000 crore to establish a 100 MW data center in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) signed an MoU worth ₹2,500 crore for projects in renewable energy, green hydrogen, and agri-solar (Agri-PV) sectors.
  • AVPN Limited committed ₹2,727 crore towards renewable energy and Agri-PV initiatives.

These projects are expected to significantly strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s green energy ambitions and sustainability goals.


Address to the Indian Community in Singapore

While addressing the Indian diaspora in Singapore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a confident and transformative vision of a “New India” and a “New Uttar Pradesh.”

He stated that a state once associated with riots and curfews has now emerged as a hub of development, investment, faith, industrial progress, and global trust.

“Uttar Pradesh is no longer the state of riots. There is no curfew, no unrest—today, everything is well in Uttar Pradesh,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister elaborated on the state’s transformation, the harmonious blend of heritage and development, and the substantial improvements in law and order.

He also extended warm greetings to all attendees on the occasion of the upcoming festival of Holi.

 


An Extraordinary Confluence of Heritage and Development

The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, is witnessing a historic transformation driven by nine years of commitment, good governance, and visionary leadership.

He recalled that a state once plagued by insecurity and disorder has now emerged as a model of law and order, investment, and development.

By effectively implementing the Prime Minister’s vision at the grassroots level, Uttar Pradesh has demonstrated a balanced and inspiring model of “heritage and development.”

He further noted that the Ram Temple is not merely a religious structure but a symbol of India’s cultural dignity and civilizational pride.

The redevelopment of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, he said, has presented the state’s eternal spiritual heritage in a modern and globally appealing form.


₹500 Crore Investment Planned in Ghaziabad

In a key meeting, the Chief Minister invited Temasek to explore investment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh across infrastructure, logistics, healthcare, warehousing, fintech-driven urban development, and related sectors.

During the discussion:

  • Temasek’s portfolio company, Manipal Hospitals, shared plans to invest approximately ₹500 crore in Ghaziabad.
  • Ascendas indicated its intent to invest nearly ₹500 crore in developing logistics and warehousing facilities in the state.

India Poised to Become the World’s Third-Largest Economy

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that today’s India is confidently showcasing its strength and capabilities on the global stage.

He asserted that India is set to soon become the world’s third-largest economy—not merely as an aspiration, but as a firm and determined commitment.

He added that India’s achievements in the digital revolution have been unprecedented and transformative.++++++
