Youth Found Murdered in Jhunsi Village; Friend and Family Booked After Bloodstains Discovered Inside House

Prayagraj: Sensation spread in Bajha Daulatpur village under Jhunsi police station limits on Monday morning after the blood-soaked body of 24-year-old Kuldeep was found lying beside a roadside.

When police reached the spot and began an investigation, they discovered blood splatters, liquor bottles and a wooden plank — believed to be the murder weapon — inside the house of the deceased’s friend.

The accused allegedly dumped the body outside his own house and fled.

Police suspect the murder occurred following a dispute during a drinking session. An FIR has been registered against four members of the same family, while two named accused have been taken into custody for questioning.

According to police, preliminary investigation indicates a dispute related to money transactions.

Kuldeep, the fifth son of farmer Ramsurat and a resident of Bajha Daulatpur, had been working in Gujarat.

He returned to the village about a month ago and started working as a daily wage labourer. Family members said Kuldeep shared a close friendship with Munna Bind from the same village.

Munna had called him to his house on Sunday night. On Monday morning, Kuldeep’s blood-stained body was found on the road outside Munna Bind’s house.

It is alleged that Kuldeep was attacked on the head with a wooden plank and killed, after which the body was thrown by the roadside.

ACP Jhunsi Vimal Kishore Mishra, Station House Officer Mahesh Mishra, along with a dog squad and forensic team, reached the scene.

During a search inside the accused’s house, police recovered blood splashes, liquor bottles and the wooden plank used in the crime.

Based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s father, police registered a murder case against Munna Bind, his brother Pappu, Deshi Bind and their mother Babni.

Two named accused are currently in custody and being interrogated.

Prima facie, the killing appears to have resulted from a quarrel during alcohol consumption. However, the exact motive will become clear after the arrest of the main accused, Munna Bind. Investigation is ongoing.
