The principal RG Kar hospital in Calcutta Dr Sandeep Ghosh has been accused of selling dead bodies and supplying alcohol to medical students in order to keep them on his side.
The principal resigned following the rape and murder of a junior doctor on August 9 in the hospital’s seminar hall.
Dr Sandeep Ghosh has also been accused of deliberately failing students.
Sources said, he used to have a financial deal with students in order to pass them.
There were so many complaints against the principal but the higher authorities paid no heed to them.
As a result he had been functioning like a dictator even when so many doctors disliked him. But they preferred to maintain a silence as they knew that powerful hands were supporting him.
