Chandrababu Naidu has taken oath as chief minister Andhra Pradesh after his party romped back with a thundering win in the assembly elections that were conducted along side the general elections in the country recently.
Along with him 24 ministers also took oath.
PM Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah, BJP president and Union health minister JP Nadda attended the function.
PM Narendra Modi congratulated the CM with a hug.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan who also took oath may become the Dy CM.
Jana Sena an NDA ally won 21 seats in the assembly polls.
Nara Lokesh, Naidu’s son also a TDP leader took oath.
TDP gas been a close ally of the BJP government.
BJP has accomodated TDP by giving a cabinet and state ministers berth to its members.
The NDA alliance consisting TDP, Jana Sena and BJP won 164 seats in the 175 member assembly in the state polls here.
The alliance also got hold of 21 Lok Sabha seats out of 25.
