CM Yogi Aditya Nath reviews Maha Kumbh preparations on Saturday

UP CM Yogi Adityanath who was in Prayagraj on Saturday to review preparations for the forthcoming Mahakumbh on Jan 25 said, this ancient city is ready to welcome devotees from all over the world including tourists and followers of Sanatan Dharm.

Directing officials and all those engaged in shaping the Mahakumbh the Chief Minister said, they should decorate the city in accordance with its ancient glory as the PM is expected to visit this holy place on Dec 13.
The PM will inaugurate 450 projects worth about 3800 Crores which should be completed before his arrival.
He directed the Commissioner Prayagraj Division and the Mahakumbh Mela Adhikari to supervise the projects so that they were completed on time.
The CM also went around several places to have a closer look at the ongoing works which are going on at a fast pace.
Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure that all Mahakumbh-related work gets completed by Dec 10. He expressed hope that quality would not be compromised.
After reaching the Circuit house the CM headed for the Arail Road and then visited the Triveni Pushp and also saw the Yoga and the Cultural Centre.
The CM inspected the sludge treatment plant at Naini and directed officials to see that no drain or sewage falls into the Ganga.
The CM also addressed the police force. He expressed satisfaction that the UP Police force had started performing better.
He directed the police force to be vigilant and ensure that nothing goes wrong during the Mahakumbh.
The CM also inaugurated 100 public shelters each having capacity of 250 beds.
A lost and found center was also thrown open for the help of those who were separated from their families accidentally in the crowd.
The CM said Prayagraj has been the center of religion and spirituality since ancient times. It is the kind of the great Seer Bharadwaj Muni.
It is also the place of revolutionaries who contributed to the freedom of the country.
