Actor-turned-politician #KanganaRanaut has candidly opened up about her experience as a first-time Member of Parliament from #Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

Known for her outspoken nature, Kangana revealed that she isn’t exactly thrilled with her political journey and questioned whether she’s truly cut out for public service.

In a recent conversation with spiritual guru #AtmanInRavi (AIR), Kangana said she has always been someone who enjoys the finer things in life and isn’t naturally inclined toward social work. “I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying it,” she admitted.

“This is more like #socialservice, and I don’t come from that background. I’ve always fought for #WomensRights, but that’s very different.”

Describing some of the strange encounters she’s had, Kangana recalled, “People come to me with broken naali problems. I’m like, ‘But I’m an MP!’ These are #panchayatlevel issues. I tell them it’s a #StateGovernment matter, but they insist, ‘You have money, use your own money.’”

Despite being in office with the #BJP, Kangana has faced backlash from within the party. In an earlier interview with #TheLallantop, she revealed that party president #JPNadda called her after her controversial remarks on the #FarmLaws.

“I took my words back,” she said, acknowledging the party had distanced itself from her views.

When asked about ambitions for higher office, including possibly becoming the #PrimeMinister, Kangana was blunt: “I pray to God that never happens. I don’t think I’m competent to be PM. I lack the passion, the background, and the desire.” She added, “I’ve lived a #selfishlife—I like #bigcars, #bighouses, #diamonds, and looking good. That’s who I am.”

Reflecting on her journey, she admitted, “I don’t know why God chose this path for me, but I never imagined my life as a grand #sacrifice. I don’t fancy this lifestyle and don’t wish it upon others either.”

On the professional front, Kangana’s struggles in the film industry have continued. Her latest film, #Emergency, where she portrayed former PM #IndiraGandhi, tanked at the box office, collecting only ₹20 crore.

Her other recent films, like #Dhaakad and #Tejas, also failed to perform, becoming some of the biggest flops in #Bollywood history.
