Sparsh Srivastava, the actor of Laapataa Ladies was in Agra, his hometown. when he got the big news of the film directed by Kiran Rao taking the global flight to the Oscars. He has not stopped smiling since then.

“When the news was announced I was in my hometown. I was in my conversation when my phone started buzzing continuously. My friends were calling me. I was getting calls from media friends. And then the film’s casting director Romil Modi called me,” Sparsh tells us.

He adds, “When I answered his call, all curious, he said, ‘Brother, we are there in the Oscars’. A few days ago, we were discussing whether we would be able to go, or not. Then we were not sure about it. And when it finally happened, it was an amazing feeling that words cannot describe.”
