Six persons in Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh all belonging to one family were shot dead and and the man who carried out the killing ultimately shot himself dead too.
The gruesome incident has rocked the city of Sitapur and sent shockwaves in the entire region.
The killer identified as Anurag Singh 45 said to be of unsound mind was also alcoholic. He first shot his 62 year old mother Savitri Devi followed by wife Priyanka 40. After this in a state of frenzy he killed his two daughters aged twelve and nine including six year old son.
The killer’s terrified brother Ajit Singh shut himself in a room and informed relatives.
