Previously Unreleased FBI Files Reveal Woman’s Allegations Linking Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein Investigation

The United States Department of Justice has made public a set of FBI records that had not been disclosed earlier.

These files summarise interviews conducted with a woman who accused former US President Donald Trump of inappropriate conduct connected to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The papers released on Thursday contain summaries of conversations federal investigators held with the woman in 2019.

These interviews were part of the wider federal inquiry into Epstein’s alleged network of sexual exploitation and trafficking of underage girls.

According to the interview summaries, the woman — whose identity has not been revealed — told FBI agents that Trump allegedly tried to pressure her into performing a sexual act after Epstein introduced her to him decades earlier.

She said the encounter occurred either in New York or New Jersey sometime during the 1980s, when she was between the ages of 13 and 15.

Earlier, the Justice Department had acknowledged that the woman had been questioned by federal agents on four separate occasions in 2019.

However, at that time, authorities released only a summary from one of those meetings, which mainly focused on her claims that Epstein had sexually abused her when she was a minor.

The documents made public this week include information from the remaining interviews, offering additional details that had not been previously shared.

The White House did not immediately issue an official statement after the new material surfaced.

Nevertheless, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the news outlet Politico that the accusations were “entirely unfounded claims” and insisted there was no credible evidence supporting them.

Officials from the Justice Department also warned that the files contain allegations that may be inaccurate or exaggerated. The department said the records include “sensational and unverified assertions made about President Trump.”

International news agency Reuters reported that it could not independently confirm the woman’s claims.

FBI documentation further indicates that investigators stopped conducting interviews with the woman later in 2019.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, the Justice Department explained that the newly released files were among 15 documents that had previously been misclassified as duplicates, which is why they had not been made public earlier.

The timing of the disclosure comes as lawmakers in Washington intensify scrutiny over how federal agencies have handled materials connected to the Epstein case.

Democratic lawmakers have accused the Trump administration of withholding documents that might contain information related to the former president.

A committee in the US House of Representatives has recently voted to issue a subpoena to Attorney General Pam Bondi, seeking her testimony about the Justice Department’s management and release of Epstein-related records.

Donald Trump has consistently maintained that his association with Epstein ended many years ago, around the mid-2000s. He has repeatedly denied having any knowledge of the financier’s alleged sexual exploitation of minors.

Some previously released records from the Justice Department suggested that Trump traveled multiple times on Epstein’s private aircraft during the 1990s. Trump has disputed those claims.

Another FBI interview note indicated that after Epstein first faced accusations of sexual misconduct, Trump contacted the police chief in Palm Beach, reportedly saying that people had long been aware of Epstein’s behaviour.

According to the summary of the woman’s final meeting with investigators in October 2019 — which occurred during Trump’s first term as president — federal agents asked whether she would be willing to share more information specifically related to Trump.

The report states that she questioned whether providing additional details would make any difference, remarking that there was a strong chance that nothing would ultimately happen even if she spoke further.
