“She was in the operating theatre for 14 hours. Woh bahut hi mushkil ek waqt tha,” Shoaib said, his voice reflecting the anxiety and helplessness he felt during those tense hours. (It was a very difficult time.)
He went on to explain the seriousness of the procedure: the surgeons successfully removed the tumour from Dipika’s liver, but they also discovered a stone in her gall bladder, which necessitated its removal.
Furthermore, since the tumour was located on the liver itself, the doctors had to cut out a small portion of her liver as well.
Despite how daunting all of this sounds, Shoaib reassured fans with a calm sense of hope. “There is nothing to stress about it since the liver is an organ that regenerates itself,” he added.
