At least four people were killed, and 28 people were rescued after a three-storey building collapsed in Transport Nagar in Lucknow on Saturday evening,
Several people are still feared trapped under the debris.
A truck, which was parked near the building, was also crushed due to the collapse of the building.
Teams from the NDRF, the SRDF, the fire department, the police and the revenue department are present at the spot. The injured have been admitted to the hospital and rescue operations are on.
Senior police and administrative officials are on the spot to oversee the ongoing rescue operations.
CM Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the matter and directed officials to make immediate efforts to rescue those trapped.
