NEW DELHI / MADHUBANI: In his first public remarks following the horrific terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong and emotional response, vowing that India will leave no stone unturned in pursuing justice.

The attack, which took place earlier this week, claimed the lives of at least 26 people, most of them innocent tourists who had traveled to enjoy the natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley.

Speaking from a rally in Madhubani, Bihar, PM Modi began his address by urging the assembled crowd to pay tribute to the victims of the brutal act of terrorism. He paused to acknowledge the pain and grief sweeping across the country in the wake of the attack.

“Today, from the sacred soil of Bihar, I address not just the people of India, but the entire world,” he declared with a deep sense of resolve.

“India will identify, trace, and bring to justice every single terrorist and those who support them, whether they hide in the shadows or operate from afar.”

Striking a defiant tone, the prime minister emphasized that terrorism would not be allowed to shatter the nation’s unity or determination.

“We will pursue the perpetrators to the ends of the Earth,” he said. “India’s courage, India’s spirit, and our national unity cannot and will not be broken by acts of terror. Those responsible will face consequences—swift, certain, and severe.”

PM Modi expressed deep sympathy for the families devastated by the attack, stating that the nation collectively shares in their grief.

“Some families have lost a son, others a husband, a father, or a brother. The pain that they are feeling is not theirs alone—it is the pain of every Indian. Their sorrow is our shared sorrow. This wound has pierced the heart of the entire nation.”

He extended gratitude to the international community, acknowledging the expressions of support that have poured in from world leaders and countries across the globe.

“To those around the world who have stood in solidarity with India during this dark hour—I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support reaffirms that humanity stands united against the evil of terrorism.”

Modi concluded his address with an uncompromising message to those behind the violence: “No one will be spared. Not those who carried out the shooting, nor those who conspired in the dark, planning and funding this cowardly act. Justice will be delivered, and justice will be relentless.”

The Pahalgam attack has sent shockwaves across India and triggered a powerful wave of condemnation from both domestic political leaders and international allies.

The Prime Minister’s speech served as a clarion call of unity and strength, as India braces for a determined response to one of the deadliest attacks in recent years.
