Superstar Rajinikanth is set to deliver a double dose of cinematic action in the coming months! Fresh off the release of Vettaiyan directed by TJ Gnanavel in October, he’s gearing up to captivate audiences with Coolie, an action-packed entertainer helmed by the rising star director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Rajinikanth has recently landed in Hyderabad for the latest schedule of Coolie. Filming is currently underway on extravagant sets erected at Ramoji Film City. The buzz is that Shruti Haasan, daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, will be playing the female lead. Notably, Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered a massive hit with Vikram starring Kamal Haasan.
Shruti Hasan confirmed her involvement in the film by sharing a post on Instagram, simply stating “First Day Coolie,” exciting fans. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, which is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
