Doctors at the RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata are dead scared. The rape and murder of a lady colleague and the subsequent attack by a mob that vandalised the emergency and other parts of the hospital has left them wondering about their safety and security.
The female doctors are more scared than their male counterparts. They have been sending whata ap messages to relatives and friends along with videos expressing their apprehensions and fear.
If sources are correct, the victim lady doctor knew about a big medicine and financial scam going on in the hospital and that is why she was targeted. The perpetrators of the scam feared that the lady doctor could spill the beans and that is why her elimination was planned, feel sources.
The man who raped and killed her was a civic worker not officially connected with the hospital. However, he frequented the hospital and had knowledge about everything.
It is suspected, that this man was picked up by the scamsters to carry out the killing obviously after taking good amount of money.
Else, why would an outsider enter the hospital in the dead of the night and pick up the doctor to rape and kill, is being argued by many. However, the CBI alone would be able to unravel the cause behind this incident as mere speculations would not serve any person.
In such cases evidence plays the most important role in nailing a person. Then there are other evidences which include circumstantial evidence, statement of people around, forensic evidence, DNA.

The CBI is going to build a case on these facts and circumstances.
