Four BTech boys and girls died in a tragic road accident in Kanpur after their car collided with a parked dumper and an iron rod-laden truck rammed into their vehicle from behind.
CM Yogi Aditya Nath has expressed grief over the accident and has sent condolence messages to the members of the aggrieved families.
Students of PSIT, Prateek Singh, third year, Satish and Garima Tripathi, first year and Ayushi Patel were being driven to their institution by one Vijay Sahu of KDA colony in his car when the tragedy took place.
All the five car occupants died on the spot. Their bodies had to be extricated from the mangled remains of the car by cutting the metal.
