Vishal Dadlani, a renowned composer, singer, and lyricist, is widely regarded as a living legend in the Indian music industry. As a judge on Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol, he is known for his honest feedback and encouragement of budding talents.

Beyond his musical prowess, Vishal has a deep passion for paragliding.

In a recent interaction with the media, Vishal expressed his love for the sport, stating, “Paragliding is more than just an adventure sport; it connects me deeply with nature. It teaches patience, humility, gratitude, and empathy. When you’re in the air, you constantly look out for fellow pilots, building a strong sense of trust. Flying alongside birds, soaring into the sky, and feeling the texture of clouds is an unparalleled experience. It instills in you a constant sense of awareness and appreciation for life’s blessings, which we often overlook. It’s one of the greatest experiences of my life. I’ve performed in front of 150,000 people at concerts, but paragliding holds a special place in my heart. I truly believe everyone should try it.”

Vishal is also the frontman of Pentagram, a Mumbai-based band known for pioneering Indian independent music. His ability to blend Indian classical music with electronic beats has earned him immense recognition.

His raw, powerful vocals have given life to numerous hit songs, including “Dhoom Again” and “Allah Ke Bande.” Over the years, he has collaborated with top artists like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Arijit Singh, crossing genres and geographical boundaries.

Vishal has been a judge on reality shows such as Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He has also composed soundtracks for blockbuster films like Ra. One (2011), Chennai Express (2013), and War (2019).

Apart from his musical contributions, Vishal is a strong advocate for social justice, environmental conservation, and human rights.
