A real estate company owner Abhishek Dwivedi swindled around 400 crores invested by people and disappeared from the city here in Allahabad.
Harried investers rushed to lodge a complaint against him after seeing an ad in newspapers that the culprits father Om Prakash Dwivedi, retired doctor had disowned him.
Abhishek had started Niharika Ventures real estate and trading company and had managed to lure large number of investors with promise of good returns.
Initially, the investors appeared happy as they were getting good profits.
However, since the past nearly six months there had been no returns.
Individuals starting from lakhs had spent crores in the hope of getting fastv returns.
Finding nobody at home investors in large numbers reached Shivkuti police station in the city Thursday evening and lodged complaint.
According to Shivkuti police station officer one Kaushal Singh resident of MG Marg civil lines lodged a written complaint along with eighty other persons.
An FIR has been lodged against Abhishek, his father, Om Prakash Dwivedi and Niharika Dwivedi, accused’s wife.
Police said, they were looking for the trio.
