Assistant Professor, Allahabad University, his father along with a third car occupant die in road mishap in Gaya Bihar.

An assistant professor of economics department, Allahabad University Dr Anup Kumar 45 his father Surendra Prasad Singh 67 and one Ram Pravesh Pandey 36 were killed in a road accident near sihuki turning under Anas police station in Gaya, Bihar late Thursday night.

Students and the teaching fraternity were greatly shocked after this news spread like wild fire.

The car was being driven by Dr Anup and was heading towards Aurangabad when it rammed into a truck from behind, said eyewitness.

Bodies were extricated from the mangled remains if the car by people in the area who had rushed to the accident site after hearing the collision noise.

While Dr Anup and his father were pulled out dead the third person was still breathing. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.

The deceased hailed from Aurangabad district.
