The Oshiwara (Bombay) police cyber team on May 8 retrieved Rs. 4.99 lakh which was siphoned off from the joint bank account of actor Rakesh Bedi and his wife, Aradhana, on May 3. Bedi posted on Twitter, “Oshiwara police senior inspector Mohan Patil and cyber constable Ashok Konde helped solve the online fraud and retrieve the money.”
The fraudster had fraudulently transferred a total of Rs. 4.99 lakh from the joint account without any OTP or link.
