Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Police Probe Possible Week-Long Surveillance Before Juhu Attack
MUMBAI: A possible pattern of surveillance has emerged in the investigation into the shooting involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai, with police examining whether the alleged attackers had been tracking his regular football outings before striking.
The inquiry has drawn attention to two dates — October 11 and October 18. Investigators reportedly found evidence suggesting that three men visited the vicinity of Pushpa Narsee Ground in Juhu on both occasions.
Police suspect the earlier visit may have been an unsuccessful attempt to attack because Shroff was not present at the venue that Sunday.
The latest findings, based on CCTV recordings and call detail records, have prompted investigators to examine whether the incident involved planning and assistance from people familiar with the actor’s routine.
A familiar Sunday routine under scrutiny
Shroff’s regular football sessions may have provided the suspected assailants with an opportunity to anticipate his movements.
According to a friend who was with the actor on the day of the shooting, he generally plays at the Juhu ground on Sunday evenings and seldom misses a session.
Police are now scrutinising footage from the afternoon of October 18. The recordings reportedly show the three suspects reaching the area around 4.30 pm, well before the actor was seen leaving the ground at approximately 7 pm.
Their repeated movements near the entrance have raised suspicions that they were checking whether Shroff had arrived.
Investigators are also considering whether anyone else was watching the actor and relaying information to the men allegedly involved in the shooting.
These are lines of inquiry rather than confirmed conclusions, and police are working to establish the roles of the individuals identified during the investigation.
Gunshots mistaken for celebratory firecrackers.
The shooting initially confused people at the football venue. A friend of Shroff said the sound did not immediately appear unusual because firecrackers had been set off shortly beforehand to mark a birthday celebration involving another group at the ground.
The mood changed when people realised that gunshots had been fired and that the actor’s driver had been wounded. The friend rushed towards the exit, where he saw Shroff take the wheel of the car and leave the area.
According to the friend, there was no opportunity to speak to the actor before he drove away.
The incident unfolded quickly, leaving those at the venue trying to understand what had happened.
Police examine escape route and eyewitness descriptions
The account recorded in the FIR provides investigators with details of the attack and the suspected escape plan.
The complaint was filed by Firdous Ibrahim Baloch, 48, the driver who has reportedly served the Shroff family for 28 years. He told police that he was driving the actor in a BMW when the vehicle turned left after leaving the ground.
At that point, two men allegedly opened fire on the car, shooting from the front and the left-hand side. A third person was reportedly positioned on a motorcycle nearby. The two alleged gunmen are said to have fled with this person after the firing.
Baloch also supplied descriptions of the clothing worn by the three men. According to the complaint, one of the shooters wore a white floral shirt, black trousers and white shoes.
The other was described as wearing a light-blue, full-sleeved shirt, black trousers and white shoes. The third man reportedly wore a chocolate-coloured T-shirt with a white stripe and grey trousers.
Investigators can use these descriptions alongside available camera footage to trace the suspects’ movements and examine whether they were present in the area before the attack.
Actor takes injured driver for help.
The FIR states that Baloch suffered a gunshot wound to his left wrist, with the bullet remaining lodged in his forearm. He also sustained a fracture to the ring finger of his right hand.
Shroff was reported to have suffered injuries to his chest and right hand. After the shooting, he moved into the driver’s seat and took Baloch to Santacruz Police Station. The two were subsequently taken to Nanavati Hospital for medical attention.
A friend who visited the hospital with two other people said the actor was in the emergency ward when they arrived. Shroff’s mother and sister, accompanied by family friends, reached the hospital roughly an hour later, the friend said.
Investigation focuses on planning and possible accomplices
The reported appearance of the suspects at the same venue a week before the shooting has become an important aspect of the inquiry.
Police are seeking to determine whether the October 11 visit was connected to the later attack and whether others helped the alleged assailants track the actor’s schedule.
The investigation will need to establish how the suspects obtained information about Shroff’s movements, whether the shooting was coordinated in advance, and how the men escaped after the incident.
Until these questions are resolved, the alleged surveillance and the involvement of possible accomplices remain matters under investigation.

पुलिस उन परिस्थितियों की पड़ताल कर रही है, जिनसे संकेत मिलता है कि संदिग्धों ने हमले से पहले भी उस स्थान का दौरा किया था जहां श्रॉफ फुटबॉल खेलने जाते हैं।

यह भी जांच की जा रही है कि कहीं किसी अन्य व्यक्ति ने अभिनेता की गतिविधियों की जानकारी संदिग्धों तक तो नहीं पहुंचाई।

टाइगर श्रॉफ के एक मित्र के अनुसार, अभिनेता रविवार की शाम जूहू के मैदान में फुटबॉल खेलने जाते हैं और आमतौर पर अपना साप्ताहिक कार्यक्रम नहीं छोड़ते। पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि क्या उनकी इसी नियमित दिनचर्या का फायदा उठाकर हमले की तैयारी की गई थी।
जांचकर्ताओं के अनुसार, 18 अक्टूबर की फुटेज में संदिग्धों को शाम करीब 4.30 बजे मैदान के आसपास देखा गया। अभिनेता लगभग सात बजे वहां से निकले थे। पुलिस को संदेह है कि संदिग्ध प्रवेश द्वार के आसपास घूमकर यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहते थे कि श्रॉफ मैदान में मौजूद हैं या नहीं।
जांच का एक अन्य पहलू यह है कि क्या हमलावरों के अलावा कोई और व्यक्ति भी अभिनेता की गतिविधियों पर नजर रख रहा था। पुलिस यह स्थापित करने की कोशिश कर रही है कि संदिग्धों के बीच किस तरह संपर्क था और उन्हें अभिनेता के आने-जाने की जानकारी कैसे मिली।
फिलहाल ये सभी संभावनाएं जांच का हिस्सा हैं। संदिग्धों की भूमिका और उनके बीच संभावित संपर्क के बारे में अंतिम निष्कर्ष जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही निकाला जा सकेगा।
पटाखों की आवाज समझकर पहले नहीं हुआ खतरे का एहसास
गोलीबारी के समय मैदान पर मौजूद लोगों को शुरुआत में स्थिति की गंभीरता का अंदाजा नहीं हुआ। टाइगर श्रॉफ के एक मित्र ने बताया कि कुछ देर पहले वहां एक अन्य समूह ने जन्मदिन मनाने के लिए पटाखे चलाए थे। इसी वजह से गोली चलने की आवाज को भी पहले पटाखों से जोड़कर देखा गया।
लेकिन जल्द ही लोगों को पता चला कि अभिनेता की कार पर गोलियां चलाई गई हैं और उनके चालक को चोट लगी है। इसके बाद मैदान पर मौजूद लोगों में हलचल मच गई।
श्रॉफ के मित्र के मुताबिक, वह घटनास्थल के बाहर पहुंचे तो अभिनेता कार की चालक सीट पर बैठकर वहां से निकल रहे थे। वह उनसे बात नहीं कर सके, क्योंकि अभिनेता ने तत्काल वहां से जाने का फैसला किया।
एफआईआर में हमले और फरार होने के तरीके का विवरण
पुलिस के पास दर्ज शिकायत में गोलीबारी की परिस्थितियों और संदिग्धों की गतिविधियों का विवरण दिया गया है। शिकायतकर्ता फिरदौस इब्राहिम बलोच, 48, लंबे समय से श्रॉफ परिवार के चालक के रूप में काम कर रहे हैं।
शिकायत के मुताबिक, घटना के समय बलोच बीएमडब्ल्यू कार चला रहे थे। मैदान से बाहर निकलने के बाद कार बाईं ओर मुड़ी, तभी दो लोगों ने सामने और बाईं तरफ से उस पर गोलियां चला दीं।
आरोप है कि तीसरा व्यक्ति पास में मोटरसाइकिल लेकर तैयार खड़ा था। गोलीबारी के बाद दोनों हमलावर उसके साथ फरार हो गए। पुलिस अब इस कथित भागने के रास्ते और आसपास लगे कैमरों की रिकॉर्डिंग की जांच कर रही है।
बलोच ने हमलावरों के कपड़ों के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। शिकायत में एक व्यक्ति के सफेद फूलदार कमीज, काली पतलून और सफेद जूते पहनने का उल्लेख है।
दूसरे व्यक्ति ने कथित तौर पर हल्के नीले रंग की पूरी बांह वाली कमीज, काली पतलून और सफेद जूते पहने थे। मोटरसाइकिल पर मौजूद तीसरे व्यक्ति को चॉकलेटी रंग की सफेद धारी वाली टी-शर्ट और ग्रे पतलून पहने बताया गया है।
इन विवरणों की मदद से पुलिस संदिग्धों की पहचान करने और घटना से पहले तथा बाद में उनकी गतिविधियों का पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है।
घायल चालक को लेकर पुलिस स्टेशन पहुंचे टाइगर श्रॉफ
एफआईआर के अनुसार, गोलीबारी में बलोच की बाईं कलाई पर गोली लगी और गोली उनकी अग्रबाहु में फंस गई। उनके दाहिने हाथ की अनामिका उंगली में फ्रैक्चर भी हुआ।
शिकायत में टाइगर श्रॉफ के सीने और दाहिने हाथ में चोट लगने का भी उल्लेख है। घटना के बाद अभिनेता ने खुद कार चलाकर घायल चालक को सांताक्रूज पुलिस स्टेशन पहुंचाया। इसके बाद दोनों को इलाज के लिए नानावटी अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
अभिनेता के एक मित्र ने बताया कि वह दो अन्य लोगों के साथ अस्पताल पहुंचे थे। उस समय श्रॉफ आपातकालीन चिकित्सा कक्ष में थे। उनके अनुसार, अभिनेता की मां और बहन परिवार के कुछ मित्रों के साथ लगभग एक घंटे बाद अस्पताल पहुंचीं।
हमले की पूर्व योजना और सहयोगियों की भूमिका की पड़ताल
गोलीबारी से एक सप्ताह पहले संदिग्धों की कथित मौजूदगी ने पुलिस के सामने जांच की एक नई दिशा खोली है। अधिकारी यह पता लगाना चाहते हैं कि 11 अक्टूबर को मैदान के आसपास उनकी गतिविधियां बाद में हुए हमले से जुड़ी थीं या नहीं।
जांच में यह भी स्पष्ट करना होगा कि क्या किसी ने अभिनेता की दिनचर्या की जानकारी हमलावरों को दी, क्या वारदात के लिए पहले से समन्वय किया गया था और गोलीबारी के बाद संदिग्ध किस रास्ते से भागे।
इन सवालों के जवाब मिलने के बाद ही यह स्पष्ट हो सकेगा कि हमले की तैयारी किस तरह की गई थी और इसमें कितने लोगों की भूमिका थी। फिलहाल पुलिस सभी संभावित पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है।
