Six Israeil held hostages by Hamas were shot dead prompting the US president’s stern reaction that the outfit will have to pay a price for this as one of the killed hostages was an American Israeli citizen.
The Israeli PM Netanyahu declared the militants involved in the killing will not be spared.
Such incidents proved that Hamas was in no mood for a ceasefire.
Netanyahu said we will search you, nab you, and settle the score.
The hostages were found dead in Gaza on Sunday including Hersh Goldberg Polin, an American Israeli whose parents have been outspoken advocates for bringing Hamas captives home.
Thousands of people took to the streets in Tel Aviv to protest Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his government.
The hostage family members expressed outrage at Netanyahu, saying he “abandoned the abductees”, The group had called for a ceasefire so hostages could be released, according to a section of the press.
