The Handsome Hunk Fardeen Feroz Khan is son of Feroz Khan, the legend. He began his career with Prem Aggan that got him Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actor. Some of his best work includes Jungle, Bhoot, Dulha Mil Gaya, Qhushi, Dev, Fida, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and others. He was praised for his comic timing in No Entry and Hey Baby.

The handsome hunk Fardeen Khan, who recently  made his comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi and was last seen in Khel Khel Mein and these days, his film Visfot is doing very good on OTT platform, has shared his thoughts on his late father Feroz Khan’s enduring legacy. Fardeen spoke about how his father’s unique personality and contributions to cinema set him apart.

“My dad’s legacy is unmatched. He was extraordinary. His impact on art, craft, and films was profound. The way he told stories and portrayed female characters was often seen as ahead of its time. He had a strong personality and owned it unapologetically,” Fardeen said.

Reflecting on his father’s career challenges, Fardeen noted that Feroz Khan truly showcased his talents when he started producing films.

My dad faced many struggles. It was only after he became a producer that he could present himself as a star in the way he envisioned. He often felt that people he worked with weren’t able to capture how he saw himself as a performer. In those days, actor-producers were rare. Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, and then my dad were among the few. I don’t dwell on his legacy much because I grew up with it and have learnt a lot from it. However, living up to it is daunting because his achievements are unparalleled,” Fardeen explained.

Fardeen also discussed how his father’s guidance influenced his own acting job.

“My father never imposed anything on me. Instead, he encouraged me to discover myself and make my own decisions. He pushed me to learn from my own mistakes. I carry his wisdom and resilience with me. Back in the day, producing a film was a monumental effort. For him, it was not just about making the money, it was his commitment and passion towards filmmaking,” Fardeen said.

Feroz Khan was known for his stylish and fashionable on-screen persona. He was the style icon and was called Client Eastwood of India and a legend. Besides acting and directing, Feroz Khan was involved in film production. He established his own production company, FK International. Feroz Khan received several awards and nominations for his contributions to Indian cinema. He was ahead of his time.

He introduced many new technologies to the Indian Film Industry. Now he is no more but his son Fardeen Khan is trying to forward his legacy.
