Filmmaker Anees Bazmee  revealed that the stress from negative reactions before the release of Welcome starring Feroz Khan,

Akshay Kumar,

Nana Patekar – नाना पाटेकर and others led to his hospitalization. He explained that receiving unfavorable feedback from a hundred people caused him significant anxiety, as he invested himself fully in each project, treating it as a personal battle.

The filmmaker added that he didn’t have a substantial body of work to fall back on, which added to his stress, especially considering the many people involved in the film, including financiers. While in the hospital, he reviewed his script scene-by-scene over two days and ultimately concluded that the film had merit, reinforcing his conviction that it was a worthwhile project.

Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee’s next, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is slated to release in theatres on November 1. The horror comedy stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit – Nene and Tripti Dimri
