Vigilance teams in Lucknow conducted simultaneous raids on various locations associated with Rajveer Singh, an Assistant Project Manager (APM) at the Uttar Pradesh State Construction Corporation (UPRNN).
The raids were carried out at his office in Delhi, his residence in Noida, and properties in Aligarh. The teams reportedly uncovered assets worth over Rs50 crore, and the search continued late into the night as part of an investigation into disproportionate assets.
According to sources, documents related to four properties in Noida and eight in Aligarh were discovered during the raid at Rajveer’s Noida residence in Sector 105.
The Noida properties consist of plots ranging from 200 to 300 square yards, with multi-story buildings constructed on them. Two of these buildings reportedly house hostels.
The Aligarh properties are still under scrutiny. Additionally, the teams found documents related to two acres of agricultural land in Gautam Buddh Nagar, as well as jewelry worth around Rs1 crore from a locker.
Evidence of investments worth crores in various companies also came to light. Multiple bank lockers belonging to Rajveer and his family have been identified, which will soon be examined.
Furthermore, a commercial building in Delhi, estimated to be worth over Rs20 crore, has also been linked to Rajveer.
Rajveer, currently stationed as APM at UPRNN’s Delhi office, has been under vigilance scrutiny since 2019, following a state-directed inquiry into his disproportionate wealth.
The inquiry revealed that Rajveer had an income of Rs1.78 crore during the specified period, while his expenditures totaled Rs2.67 crore—exceeding his income by Rs89 lakh. Tuesday’s raids were part of an effort to gather more evidence regarding Rajveer’s assets.
