Three Holland Hall and one inmate of PCUB hostel have been expelled from Allahabad University following a violent clash between them.
Brickbats, iron rods, and thick sticks were freely used in a guerrilla war that started between them from 10 am Friday till late evening.
Several students from both sides were injured in the fight. Among the injured were several road users who had suddenly found themselves hemmed in between both the warring groups.
The bloody fight started following some quarrel at a fresher’s party organized by Psychology department students.
According to PRO Jaya Kapoor a police complaint has been lodged against three students including some unidentified students.
PAC was posted in the area later in the evening to prevent further trouble.
