US President Joe Biden and Republican hopeful Donald Trump… On Israel- Iran war

Amid heightened tension in the Middle East, US President Joe Biden says Israel should consider alternatives to hitting Iran” ‘s oil fields. He has also said ‘No administration has helped Israel more than I have’. However, he also said, that Israel has not yet decided how it’s going to respond to Iran’s ballistic missile assault but suggested it should refrain from targeting Iran’s oil facilities.

“If I were in his shoes, I would be thinking about other alternatives than striking oil fields, Biden said during a press briefing at the white house.

Earlier this week Biden said he opposed Israel targeting Iran’s nuclear sites as well.

However, he added it was left to Israel to decide how to proceed with the war.

On the other hand, Republican hopeful Donald Trump said he believed Israel should strike Iran’s nuclear sites.
