Aamir Khan Marries Longtime Partner Gauri Spratt in an Intimate Mumbai Ceremony
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has married his longtime partner, Gauri Sprat,t after being in a relationship for more than two years.
The couple exchanged wedding vows during a private ceremony held on Sunday at Aamir’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
The celebration was attended by close family members, close friends, ds, and children from their previous marriages, making it a warm and intimate affair.
A spokesperson representing Aamir Khan confirmed that the couple is now officially married.
Before the ceremony began, Aamir’s children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, were seen arriving at the venue.
Several well-known personalities, including filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actors Rhea Chakraborty and ElAvramRam, former cricketer Irfan Pathan, politician Raj Thackeray, and comedian Vir Das, also attended the private celebrations.
Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan later shared a video from the wedding on social media.
The footage captured Aamir and Gauri exchanging their vows, followed by a joyful dance by the couple before they embraced each other, creating one of the most memorable moments of the ceremony.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt rekindled their friendship in 2024 after reconnecting in Bengaluru through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan.
Although they had first met nearly 25 years earlier, their relationship blossomed only after they reconnected.
The couple remained in a long-distance relationship for almost a year before Aamir publicly introduced Gauri as his partner during the celebrations of his 60th birthday in March 2025.
At the time, Aamir had said that he had no immediate plans to marry again but admitted that he felt emotionally settled and content with Gauri.
She later moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai along with her son from a previous marriage.
After previously working with a haircare company, Gauri joined Aamir Khan Productions, where she now assists with the company’s operations. The production house recently completed 25 years in the film industry.
The couple has been living together at Aamir’s Mumbai residence for more than a year. Last month, the actor confirmed that they had decided to formalise their relationship through marriage.
Earlier this week, while attending the premiere of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s streaming debut, Pritam and Pedro, Aamir revealed that the wedding would be a registered marriage followed by a simple celebration attended only by close family members and longtime friends.
This marks Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He first married Reena Dutta in 1986, and the two are parents to Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Despite ending their marriage in 2002, they have continued to co-parent their children amicably.
Following his separation from Reena, Aamir began a relationship with filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2004, and the couple married the following year. In 2011, they welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy.
Although Aamir and Kiran ended their marriage in 2021, they continue to jointly raise Azad and maintain a cordial personal and professional relationship.
Even after their divorce, Kiran Rao has remained associated with Aamir Khan Productions as a board member while also running her own banner, Kindling Productions.
Her acclaimed directorial venture Laapataa Ladies was jointly produced by both production houses.
In addition, Aamir, Kira,n and Reena continue to work together through their social initiative, Paani Foundation, reflecting the mutual respect they have maintained despite changes in their personal lives.

इस खास अवसर पर दोनों परिवारों के सदस्य, करीबी मित्र और उनकी पिछली शादियों से जुड़े बच्चे भी मौजूद रहे।
आमिर खान के प्रवक्ता ने विवाह की आधिकारिक पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि अब दोनों कानूनी रूप से पति-पत्नी बन चुके हैं। समारोह शुरू होने से पहले आमिर के बेटे जुनैद खान और बेटी आइरा खान कार्यक्रम स्थल पर पहुंचे।
इस निजी समारोह में निर्देशक आशुतोष गोवारिकर, अभिनेत्री रिया चक्रवर्ती, एली अवराम, पूर्व क्रिकेटर इरफान पठान, राजनेता राज ठाकरे और हास्य कलाकार वीर दास सहित कई करीबी मेहमान भी शामिल हुए।
पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर इरफान पठान ने बाद में शादी का एक वीडियो साझा किया, जिसमें आमिर और गौरी एक-दूसरे से वैवाहिक वचन लेते दिखाई दिए। वीडियो में दोनों को साथ नृत्य करते और बाद में एक-दूसरे को गले लगाते हुए भी देखा गया, जिसने समारोह को और भावुक बना दिया।

उस समय आमिर ने कहा था कि फिलहाल उनकी तीसरी शादी की कोई योजना नहीं है, लेकिन गौरी के साथ उन्हें जीवन में स्थिरता और संतुलन का एहसास होता है।
बाद में गौरी अपने पिछले विवाह से हुए बेटे के साथ बेंगलुरु से मुंबई आ गईं। पहले एक हेयरकेयर कंपनी से जुड़ी रहीं गौरी अब आमिर खान प्रोडक्शंस के कार्यों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही हैं। हाल ही में इस प्रोडक्शन हाउस ने अपनी स्थापना के 25 वर्ष पूरे किए हैं।
पिछले एक वर्ष से अधिक समय से आमिर और गौरी मुंबई स्थित उनके घर में साथ रह रहे थे। पिछले महीने आमिर ने सार्वजनिक रूप से बताया था कि दोनों ने अब विवाह करने का फैसला कर लिया है।
इसी सप्ताह निर्देशक राजकुमार हिरानी की स्ट्रीमिंग फिल्म प्रीतम एंड पेड्रो के प्रीमियर के दौरान उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया था कि विवाह पंजीकृत रूप से होगा और इसके बाद केवल परिवार और पुराने मित्रों की मौजूदगी में एक छोटा निजी समारोह आयोजित किया जाएगा।
यह आमिर खान का तीसरा विवाह है। उन्होंने पहली शादी 1986 में रीना दत्ता से की थी। दोनों के दो बच्चे जुनैद खान और आइरा खान हैं। वर्ष 2002 में दोनों का तलाक हो गया, लेकिन आज भी वे अपने बच्चों की संयुक्त रूप से परवरिश कर रहे हैं।
रीना से अलग होने के बाद आमिर का रिश्ता फिल्म निर्माता किरण राव से शुरू हुआ और दोनों ने 2005 में विवाह किया। 2011 में सरोगेसी के माध्यम से उनके बेटे आजाद का जन्म हुआ।
हालांकि 2021 में दोनों का तलाक हो गया, लेकिन वे आज भी आजाद की परवरिश मिलकर कर रहे हैं और व्यक्तिगत तथा पेशेवर स्तर पर अच्छे संबंध बनाए हुए हैं।
तलाक के बाद भी किरण राव आमिर खान प्रोडक्शंस के बोर्ड की सदस्य हैं और साथ ही अपनी कंपनी काइंडलिंग प्रोडक्शंस का संचालन भी करती हैं। उनकी चर्चित फिल्म लापता लेडीज़ का निर्माण दोनों प्रोडक्शन हाउस ने संयुक्त रूप से किया था।
इसके अलावा आमिर, किरण और रीना आज भी अपने सामाजिक संगठन पानी फाउंडेशन के माध्यम से साथ मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं, जो उनके आपसी सम्मान और सहयोग का प्रतीक है।
